are you implying that some jso officers are trigger happy ??? the weapons with a malfunction should have been taken out of use, till the manufacturer had opportunity to inspect.. but just as jso didn't train armorers, or take advantage of olympic arms 6 k offer when purchased & instead chose to place the proverbial cart before the proverbial cart, the 50 k damn well better come out of the police budget,, or give the guns up for good !!! the question begs how many ar-15 does jso now own lock, stock,&barrel ??? funny how they were collecting them in pickle barrels !!!

GEE, I mentioned this when this article first came out and I guess JSO or someone in the news office decided to delete my post. Shame I hate bringing something to some ones attention and getting deleted for it. Well thats what happens to nice guys.

I would be willing to bet that if the truth were known, the malfunction would be found to be the result of operator error. I have known and shot at ranges with several police officers. I was not impressed with their abilities. I will say that in most cases their problem(s) were the result of a lack of or improper training and not necessarily their carelessness.

Wonder how many of the rifles that discharged were not on safe at the time of discharge?
