River levels remain a concern

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Emergency Management Offices as well as the First Alert Weather Center continue to monitor river levels as they rise and fall across the area.

The most widespread flooding is along Black Creek in Clay County. Creek levels are expected to fall in both forks of the creek.

Damage assessment is ongoing along the banks of Black Creek.

Minor flooding is occurring along the St. Mary’s near Macclenny. The river is expected to fall below flood stage on Tuesday.

The First Alert Weather Team will continue to monitor stages of the Suwanee River in Florida and the Satilla & Altamaha in Southeast Ga. There have been no reports of flooding along these rivers.

All of the flooding in the area will slowly recede a sunny skies dominate the next several days.
