JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man guilty of shooting and killing a Jacksonville man during a fit of road rage was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
Brad Andrew Lippincott, 31, was sentenced Monday. He also got 3-years' probation, 2 years of community control, must pay court fees and make a $1,000 donation to the victim's daughter's education account.
Lipincott pleaded guilty to fatally shooting Kahron Ali Warnke, 33, near 103rd Street and Jammes Road back in 2012.
Prosecutors say the road rage incident started with a verbal argument over a traffic dispute.
Lippincott pulled out a gun and fired seven shots at the victim's car.
Warnke was fatally injured, but his 8-year-old daughter was not harmed during the attack.
