ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Two roommates have been arrested for trying to break into cars in Heritage Landing. Witnesses called police and reported seeing Jonathon Gagnon and Jesse Bolton trying to open the doors on several vehicles on the same street.

When detectives arrived, they say Gagnon and Bolton were inside another car. When the two men saw police, they ran off, and tried to jump over a privacy fence. Gagnon was arrested, but Bolton got away. A K-9 later tracked Bolton down at his home where he was arrested.

Gagnon was released after posting $11,500 bond. Bolton is still behind bars in lieu of bonds totaling $4,000.

You can run but you can't hide. Good job catching another criminal.

I see this young criminal has made a serious mistake. The mistake of attempting Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer (BLEO). Guess he will know better for future reference.
