JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Scattered evening showers will drop some brief heavy rain as our weather pattern begins to change.  This change will include lower humidity by Thursday under partly sunny skies.  A few widely scattered showers will still develop but rain amounts will be light.  Highs will reach the mid 80s.  The weather changes become more profound by Friday into the weekend with gusty northeast winds and high temperatures only between 80 and 85.  The onshore flow will make for rough seas and surf and an elevated rip current risk at area beaches.  Click ** here ** to download the First Alert Weather iPad App.
