JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Scattered showers will continue through this evening with some brief downpours and gusty winds. Otherwise temperatures will be warm and humid only dropping into the low to mid 70s by morning.
An approaching upper level disturbance and area of low pressure will combine with the tropical air in place Wednesday to produce yet another round of heavy rain and storms. While heavy rain will be the primary concern, there may also be a few strong storms that will produce gusty winds. Temperatures will reach the mid 80s. Drier air will finally make a move into the area Thursday bringing an end to the widespread rain in addition to lower humidity. Send your First Alert Weather photos ** here
