JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Scattered strong thunderstorms will occur into early this evening near and a little bit either way of I-95 and will hit Jacksonville's Westside particuarly hard.  Storms will be slow moving producing rainfall rates of 1-2" per hour, frequent lightning and gusty winds.  Rain will diminish shortly after sunset followed by clearing skies and warm, muggy temperatures.
Thursday will begin mostly sunny helping push temperatures to near 90 degrees by the lunch hour.  Scattered storms will again develop between 3 and 7pm with locally very heavy rain.
