STARKE, Fla. -- Students who ride the bus to Starke Elementary School will have to get to the bus stop earlier than normal.
The school is closed due to mold, and the district is shuttling the 500 students at the school to new, alternative locations.
The students will start school after the Labor Day holiday on Sept. 3.
The changes are impacting bus schedules.
Students will be picked up from their regular bus stops and dropped off at Starke Elementary. The students will then be shuttled to their assigned alternate schools.
The Bradford County School District says bus riders, starting Wednesday Sept. 4, will be picked up 10 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled.
In the afternoon, students will be taken from their alternate schools to Starke Elementary School and taken home on their regular bus routes and schedules.
