JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The Duval County School Board has completed its investigation into an Atlantic Beach Elementary School teacher, accused of giving students a controversial assignment. That Black History assignment featured coloring book images with what some considered to be offensive or outdated images.

Superintendent Nikolai Vitti is recommending that Teresa Flores be given a letter of reprimand and be suspended for 5 days. The Board will vote on this recommendation on April 2.

Shame on that teacher for trying to expose our "little angels" to our country's true history. We wouldn't want to expose them to any violent coloring book pictures. After all, they get enough violence in the schools and at home on their video games and TV movies.
