MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- Search crews in Marion County are continuing to search for a man who disappeared from his home Tuesday.

According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, 48-year-old John Radabaugh, Jr. disappeared from his home in Ocklawaha. Investigators said Radabaugh is endangered because he has the mental capacity of a 3-year-old child.
"I am worried about everything," said John Radabaugh, Sr. "I am just hoping he is OK."
He said he is concerned for the safety of his son.
According to Radabaugh Sr., he and his son were working in their yard Tuesday when he stepped into the house for five minutes to take a phone call. He said when he came back outside, his son was gone.
According to the Sheriff's Office, crews have searched ponds, abandoned homes, lakes, and thick woods.
On Friday, search crews set up a map sectioned off in grids; crews on foot, in boats and with search-and-rescue dogs, were each assigned an area.
"We are hoping that he was able to survive the night and that he is out there and we are going to find him," said Capt. James Pogue of the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Crews have been particularly concerned for Radabaugh's well-being because of cold nighttime temperatures in the area.
