CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- Clay County deputies are releasing new information about the search for a local bank robber.

Police are still looking for the man who robbed the Compass bank on Blanding Boulevard on August 1, 2012.

He was wearing a black ball cap.  He had a thin build with no visible tattoos on his forearms.  The suspect did have dark hair on his arms.  He was wearing a long black curly wig with a dark-colored bandana.  His hands were covered by food service-type plastic gloves.  The suspect was also seen carrying a revolver with a white grip.

The suspect was seen leaving the scene toward a nearby neighborhood.  A late-model silver Toyota 4-Runner was seen leaving immediately after the bank robbery.

If you recognize the man in the surveillance pictures or the potential getaway car, police do want to hear from you.  You can make an anonymous call to the Clay County Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
