APOPKA, Fla. -- The Seminole County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in identifying a lost child found wandering along an Apopka Roadway.

Deputies say the child was found by a passerby around 7:30 p.m. Saturday wandering along Bear Lake Road. Since then, deputies have gone door to door in the neighborhoods nearby in an attempt to find the child's parents.

Deputies say the child says her name is Isabella and appears to be 2 to 3 years old. They say the child says her mother's name is Liz.

The child is 3 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 35-40 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was found wearing a gray shirt, pink shorts and a diaper.

The child is currently in the care of SCSO's Child Protective Services Unit and is in good condition.

Anyone with information about the identity of child or her parents/caregivers is asked to call 407-665-6650.
