Is this lady crazy or just stupid? Adding yet another tax will only hurt a nation who is already suffering from an overly heavy tax burden. When will these mindless politicians stop robbing us tax payers. It is time for us tax paying voters to clean the trash out of Tallahassee and Washington D.C. and put some people in office who truly want to serve this nation and not themselves. Has anyone ever noticed that most politicians leave their office a heck of a lot wealthier than when they enter their office? Why, because most politicians are dishonest, greedy and self serving and worst of all, most of them sell their positions to the highest bidder, which is why this county is in the mess it is in and why nothing is being done to assist the unemployed, the poor and the middle class. Fact is our Government is corrupt and needs to be replaced using any means possible. Taxing internet sales will not stop people from buying ammo, as most of us can always buy what we need on the black market, it is called free enterprise and banning or making something more difficult to obtain only makes better profits for those willing to feed the demand. If you think I’m wrong, just look at the drug trade, why cocaine is cheaper and more potent today than it was during my youth and this is even after 40+ years of a failed drug war. The same goes for guns and ammo, take them away us honest citizens and only the criminals will be armed, the rest of us will be left at the mercy of our corrupt Government, their armies and the endless police state we presently live under, something I will never let happen, at least not without a fight.

IF I read this correctly, imtellin, she doesn't want to change the gun laws at all, just put a safe guard in place on the computer that show HOW MUCH ammo is being bought by each person...IF it appears to be bought in huge amounts, that person could be investigated by the feds.. I think it might be a good idea, but then again, it still infringes on MORE of our rights.

dear rwep. gibson,, as a died in the red, white & blue America,, i can assure you we all feel extremely safe & don't want liberal knee jerk reactionaries such as yourself,, messing up our 2nd ammendment right to keep & bear arms.. the database you suggest already exists, as you must register every handgun you own !!! eifles & shotguns have been exempt from laws for obvious purposes !!! handguns should be exempt as well, yet liberals such as yourself have managed to push legislation through preventing this... ever try to shoot a diamondback with a rifle at close quarters ??? i doubt it !!! but don't you worry about us,, it's us who should be concerned for your safety,, what with running your mouth about more, new legislation ??? girl, what were you thinking ??? put a target on your chest next time woman,,, good lord !!!
