Serial burglary suspect arrested
MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- The suspect in a number of summer home burglaries in the Lake Bryant Shores area of Marion County has been arrested.
Deputies say that Clyde Tyndal had been stealing mostly jewelry and cash from homes in the northeast part of the county.
Tyndal reportedly would break the stolen jewelry and then sell the parts for scrap.
This made it difficult for law-enforcement to label a suspect.
Tyndal was eventually identified thanks to one victim catching him on a home video surveillance system, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
Tyndal was booked into the Marion County Jail on a $53,000 bond.
