JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- While other parts of the country are in for a white Christmas we're likely to get a "wet" post Christmas.

A large storm system is making it's way eastward that could potentially bring severe thunderstorms to our area tomorrow.

If you're trying to fly out of Jacksonville International Airport and head north, you might want to pack an extra book or two because you could be waiting at the airport for a while.

However, some might say getting stranded in Jacksonville is not so bad.

"For folks who get stuck they might be getting stuck in the right place," said Iso Ebong, traveler.

If weather permits Iso Ebong, who is in town from Washington D.C., will be on a plane back home tomorrow. But admitted he wouldn't mind extending his stay in the River City.

"I do have to get back to work in D.C. but I can probably spare a day or so at most," said Ebong.

While Karyn Petersen who is visiting from New York also admits that if she was to get stranded somewhere, it'd be in Florida.

"I'm happy to be in the warm weather," said Petersen.

Tomorrow is one of the busiest travel days of the year add to that a major snow storm and it could easily make for a stressful travel day.

If you or a loved one is traveling this week make sure to check the flight status before heading out to the airport.
