Shands Jacksonville facing funding issues
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Shands Jacksonville may face a funding problem because of uninsured patients.
Action News has learned the hospital lost $20 million this past year.
In the past 10 years, SDhands says it has provided $300 million in care to those without insurance.
It's hoping to build a new 100-bed hospital that could help bring in more revenue.
