If no one is above the law why do police officer on duty get free passes for careless driving? They are not cited, they do not undergo drug screening to see if played a part in serious accident etc etc..... Rutherford has went on record in the past with action news saying he will not subject his officers on the streets to the same scrunity as the average citizen would get. Therefore his statement is false they are above the law.
