OCALA, Fla. -- Three people are in jail after deputies say they committed an armed robbery while two babies were in the vehicle during the crime.
Around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, an armed robbery took place on Northeast 13th Street in Ocala, deputies said.
One of the victims recognized 20-year-old Alaina Danielle Johnson and said she had two of her babies in the truck when she arrived at the home.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office said 18-year-old Matthew Allison Thomas and 17-year-old Miguel Antonio Garcia held at least two people at gunpoint and stole cash, marijuana, and a paintball gun.
Deputies arrested all three by 4:30 p.m. the same day. Johnson and Thomas are facing a $50,000 bond each in the Marion County Jail and Garcia is in the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center with no bond.
