What I am taking away from this story is it is ok for police to kill unarmed people at traffic stops for the slightest provocation. The most you can expect is for them to lose their jobs. A police officer that shoots someone at traffic stop will not be ever be charged with murder in the 1st , 2nd, or 3rd degree ever no matter what.

So cops killing un armed men who haven't attacked them is ok ? Why is the military has to wait for people to shoot at them in many circumstance or reveal hostile intent but a cop can see you move the wrong way and kill you and no foul?

Politics and Police just don't mix.... The cop, black or white makes no difference - the uniform is BLUE, did the right thing the goof who got shot was a doper, selling dope. He had over a half an ounce of cocaine in his pocket!. This is a good, alert cop, Rutherford, stop playing politics and be the Chief of Police, not a politician. Officer Edwards deserves to keep his job, certification and a commendation.
