Shooter convicted in 2010 gentlemen's club death
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man has been convicted in a 2010 shooting death at a gentlemen's club.
William Edward Mango III, 27, was convicted Friday for his involvement in the shooting death of Scotty W. Frasier, Jr. The jury found Mango guilty of manslaughter.
In August 2010, Frasier was arguing with a friend at Diamonds Gentleman's Club on North Main Street. As the argument carried outside and into the parking lot of the club, Mango got between the two and began arguing with Frasier. Mango then drove his car to where Frasier was standing and shot him once from inside his vehicle.
Mango faces up to 30 years in prison. He will be sentenced the week of October 28.
