ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- The Clay County Sheriff's Office says a suspect's choice of footwear could be the key to solving a series of laptop thefts.

On March 19, the BJ's Wholesale Club at 560 Blanding Boulevard. reported several damaged laptop computers and one laptop computer missing from the display area. Surveillance video from March 18 shows the suspects entered the store and went directly to the display area.

The video shows a man pulling on several laptops until one came loose. The video then captures a woman putting the laptop, a Samsung Model 530U4B, into a large purse. She left the area first and the man followed several seconds later.

The man is bald with a small goatee and he was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.

The woman was wearing a flowered dress and bright pink house slippers.

If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.  You will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 if your tip leads to an arrest.
