JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A weather disturbance will move out of the Gulf of Mexico northeast into Florida through Friday bringing at least some rain. Clouds will increase tonight with showers from Gainesville to Palatka to St. Augustine by early Thursday. Showers will then gradually spread northward through the day but amounts only look to average a tenth to a quarter of an inch. Showers will linger Thursday night into Friday before drier weather arrives just in time for the weekend.
