Silver Alert issued for missing man in Putnam County

PALATKA, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered adult who is possibly suffering from dementia.

Paul James "Jim" Rodgers, 84, was last seen driving away from his home in the Tarpon Boulevard area of Palatka Thursday morning. 

He was in a white 2005 Chevrolet Colorado with a tag number of U685BP.  The car has a "check twice for motorcycles" bumper sticker and a yellow tennis ball on the antenna.

Rodgers has been known to drive into the Clay County and Jacksonville areas in the past. 

He is considered endangered because he has a variety of health issues including possible dementia.
