JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- In an unprecedented move, the City of Jacksonville is allowing skateboarders to show off their skills in Hemming Plaza tonight.

Today is International Go Skate Day and Kona Skate Park is celebrating with a fundraiser for their soon-to-open Kona School. The event is being hosted by PB&J, which stands for Party, Benefit and Jam.

Admission is free and will include a mini ramp contest, skate deck art show, live music and more.

Go Skate Day is from 5-9 p.m. tonight.
