CLAY COUNTY, Fla. - Social Media helped solve a theft case in Clay County.

Clay County deputies went to Facebook and posted a surveillance photo of two people taken at the Walmart on Branan Field Road. The people in the picture were suspects in the theft of a wallet and a cellphone. A credit card from that wallet was used by someone other than the owner.

Tips led the deputies to Robert Hinton III, 20, and Leslee Roewe, 18, both of Middleburg. They were arrested this week, and face charges including petit theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, and dealing in stolen property.

Genius people, if you are going to do something that stupid knowing there are cameras EVERYWHERE at least go to a W/M that is not the closest to where you live. This is why they got caught so easily.
