JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Scattered showers will move north/northwest across metro Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia this evening with the most favored area from I-95 to the beaches. The added moisture will lead to some fog later tonight, some of which could be dense. The other big First Alert weather story will be a warming trend that will send temperatures to near record highs. Afternoon temperatures Wednesday will warm well into the 70s except for the beaches where onshore east to southeast winds will keep temperatures in the low 70s possibly dropping into the 60s by late in the day.
