JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- 37 degrees in Jacksonville on Thursday morning. Now it's time to kiss the cold/chilly/cool air goodbye.

A warm-up is already underway as temperatures return to the 70s today. Expect low 80s Friday and Saturday! The warm air is surging ahead of a powerful storm system in the middle of the U.S.

That storm will drop a front into our area over the weekend...kicking temperatures down only slightly Sunday and Monday. As that happens, rain chances go up.

The First Weather Team is expecting about an inch of rain spread out over 5 days (Friday through Tuesday), with most of it coming early next week.
