St. Augustine leaders upset about projects being called "turkeys"

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- An annual list, called the "Turkey Watch Report", by the Florida TaxWatch has received backlash from St. Augustine city leaders after three projects were put on the list.

better the projects ,, than the knob gobblers in city hall !!! you don't spend public money on private property,, regardless if it is historical.. city officials have known about their leaky roof for 10 years now, & have failed to budget accordingly for replacement... flagler college should spend some of the liberal arts money on the dining room that needs wood replaced, not taxpayer dollars, & the jiminez Fabio house could be replaced for the 300 k they want to pist away on temporary repairs...
