St. Augustine police find bank robbery suspect

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- St. Augustine Police say they have found the man wanted in the robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank on Cathedral Place on Feb. 8.

On Wednesday, the Mount Pleasant, S.C. Police Department arrested Craig Steven Ozarowski shortly after a bank robbery there.

Mount Pleasant police took the photos from the St. Augustine robbery that had been distributed in a nationwide alert and matched them to Ozarowski.

Ozarowski is accused of committing nine different armed robberies in the past three weeks. Since 1975, he has been arrested for 14 felonies, many of them for armed robbery, He also served time in the federal prison system for the same thing.

Charges from the Wells Fargo Bank robbery are pending.
