St. Augustine to hold 20th annual Nights of Lights celebration
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The nation's oldest city is preparing to light up downtown streets with more than a million lights.
The city is hosting the 20th annual Nights of Lights holiday countdown tonight around sunset.
The annual holiday event has been listed by National Geographic Traveler as one of the top 10 places in the world to view holiday lights.
Schedule of events:
4:00 p.m. – Local entertainment in front of Lightner Museum, 75 King Street
5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. – Music in the plaza
6:30 p.m. – The city of St. Augustine Light Up!
Tens of thousands of tourists visit the nation's oldest city just to experience the citywide display.
The nights will shine brightly in St. Augustine through Feb. 2, 2014.
