St. Johns County man convicted in Meth case

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man from Hastings was found guilty of making and selling methamphetamine.

A federal jury found 36-year-old Frank Higginbotham  guilty of one count of conspiracy to manufacture and one count of distribution of methamphetamine.

According to testimony and evidence presented at trial, Higginbotham manufactured and sold methamphetamine at various locations in St. Johns County.

Meth users gave Higginbotham boxes of medication containing pseudoephedrine in exchange for methamphetamine.

Higginbotham faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years up to life in federal prison.
