St. Johns County man fails to register as sex predator
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- St. Johns County sheriff's deputies arrested a man after he failed to register as a sexual predator.
Deputies responded to an incident at the American Inn motel on State Road 16 Tuesday. They say Kirby Donnell Miller Jr., 28, was the victim in the incident. He declined to prosecute.
However, a check into his background revealed Miller was designated a sexual predator with a transient address listed in Duval County. Deputies also learned Miller had been living in the motel since September and had not registered as a sexual predator in St. Johns County.
He was arrested and booked into the St. Johns County jail on charges of failing to register or renew information with 48 hours.
