St. Johns County seeks robber from home invasion

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a robber from a home invasion.

The robbery happened Saturday on Lewis Speedway in St. Augustine. According to the sheriff's office, the 84-year-old victim said the robber smashed a glass-door window, ran through the home, hit the resident with an unknown object and stole the victim's wallet. The victim had minor injuries.

The robber is described as a male approximately 6 feet tall, 190-200 pounds, and he was wearing a gray and white ballcap.
