ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- The superintendent of schools in St. Johns County will be giving the 'State of the Schools' speech Monday night.

There's a lot of positive to talk about. Dr. Joseph Joyner is expected to touch on the district's achievements which include five straight years as being the No. 1 school district in Florida.

The county is also one of five in the state to earn an "A" for 10 consecutive years.

Joyner will also address some of the challenges such as digital learning, state standards, teacher evaluations, testing and school grades.

School growth will also be addressed.

The district is also looking into getting other people involved.

The speech begins at 6 p.m. Action News will stream it on ActionNewsJax.com.
