State warned in 2006 about suspect in Cherish Perrywinkle killing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Seven years before police arrested Donald Smith as a suspect in the slaying of Cherish Perrywinkle, a panel of experts told the state he did not meet criteria to be considered a sexually violent predator despite a warning from the Department of Corrections.

You really have to be kidding me! All of his convictions & DR's saying that he needed to NOT be released, and the State of FL still let him back on the streets. I really hope that this guy gets the death penalty this time.
