JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The worst of the thunderstorms have moved away from metro Jacksonville for this evening.  Scattered strong storms will still occur west and south of Jacksonville as well as over parts of Southeast Georgia diminishing by late evening.
Strong thunderstorms will again fire Friday afternoon.  The first storms should develop near or a little after the lunch hour then increase through the afternoon moving south or southeast.  Expect periods of very heavy rain, gusty winds and frequent lightning.  Before storms develop, mostly to partly sunny skies will push temperatures into the low 90s.
