JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The sixth straight day of temperatures hotter than 90 degrees -- the longest of the summer so far -- will lead to a very warm evening.
Temperatures will only slowly fall from the 90s into the 80s this evening before reaching the mid to upper 70s by morning. Only a few widely scattered thunderstorms will develop with most areas staying dry.
Storms will start to increase Wednesday with locally heavy downpours developing west of Jacksonville by the noon hour then spreading eastward through the afternoon. Click ** here
