JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The recent relatively dry weather of the past few days will be coming to an end. High humidity will combine with an upper level disturbance to help trigger scattered midday through afternoon showers and thunderstorms Friday. Onshore east to southeast winds will keep rain more isolated at the beaches but winds will blow from the west and southwest over the weekend allowing showers and storms to increase at and near the coast as well. Humid afternoon highs will reach the low to mid 90s inland to upper 80s at the beaches. Click ** here
