JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Scattered inland showers and thunderstorms will produce heavy rain this evening mainly near and west of Highway 301.  Metro Jacksonville will be dry and warm tonight except for the far west side where heavy rain will diminish by 7pm.  Friday will be drier and hotter with lots of sun and highs in the mid to upper 80s at the beaches to low 90s inland.  Widely scattered showers & storms will develop inland -- mainly west of the beaches and mostly west of downtown Jacksonville.  Saturday will be similar but even a few degrees hotter inland while a nice breeze off the ocean will keep the beaches mostly in the 80s.
