PONTE VEDRA, Fla. -- A brewing company has closed its doors for good.

Action News confirmed the Sun Dog Diner has closed its new location in St. Johns County.

After 24 years, the popular diner left its longtime location in Neptune Beach late last year and relocated to St. Johns County.

Owner Curtis Winter told Action News tonight, "We just couldn't make the number work out." Winter and his wife still operate the Half Moon Raw Bar on Penman Road.

Winter tells us they will incorporate some of the most popular Sun Dog menu items there.
