JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- This morning Duval County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Nicholai Vitti will meet with students at Robert E. Lee High School to talk about his strategic plan.

The district strategic plan sets goals and plans for teachers, students and parents to achieve a better school system. It focuses on equitable and efficient use of resources, creating the whole child, engaging parents and having great teachers.

More than 40 students from high schools throughout the district will sit down with Dr. Vitti and discuss their thoughts of the strategic plan draft.

Community members are encouraged to attend one of Dr. Vitti's forums to learn more about the proposal.

There are two remaining community forums, one is tonight at Lee High School at 5:30p.m. The other is Tuesday, March 12th at Andrew Jackson High School at 5:30 p.m.
