Surveillance video released in Orange Park shooting
ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Investigators with the Orange Park Police Department are looking for a red hatchback car in connection with the town's first shooting of 2013.
It happened at 5:39 a.m. on Loring Avenue on Oct. 19, near the Park Place Apartments. According to investigators, two women were sitting in their car when they were approached by a man who shot into their vehicle, then took off in a red hatchback.
Orange Park police believe the hatchback was a 2004 to 2010 Chevy Aveo.
The victim in the shooting was Jillian Berrios.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS. All callers can remain anonymous. Tips leading to an arrest and conviction in the case are eligible for a $3,000 reward.
