Suspect arrested during JIA bomb scare appears in court

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The man arrested during a bomb hoax at Jacksonville International Airport appeared in court Wednesday morning.

Manuel Rivera, 35, pleaded not guilty to resisting an officer.

Police say he acted suspiciously during the bomb scare at JIA last week.

The suspect in the hoax, Zeljko Causevic, is facing charges for false report about planting a bomb or explosive and for the manufacture, possession or selling of a hoax bomb. He is due in court on Oct. 23.
