JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police have arrested a suspected killer after a 3 month manhunt. Investigators say James Hiawatha Russell shot and killed Philippe Foster last November, because Foster owed him $5.
Police say it took 3 months to find Russell, because he had been moving up and down the East Coast, living under assumed identities. U.S. Marshals caught up with him Friday, at a motel in Albany, Georgia.
Authorities are working to bring Russell back to Jacksonville. Once he gets here, he'll be charged with murder, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Russell also faces ID theft, drug, and weapons charges in Georgia.
