Police use stop sticks to catch D.U.I. suspect on the Southside
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says they have their man after a chase on the Southside of town this morning.
Officers used stop sticks to halt the driver of a red truck. They say his run from the law ended near the intersection of Beach and University Boulevards.
Officers deployed stop sticks, which shredded the suspects tires and brought him to a stop.
Police took the suspect into custody. They believe he was drinking and driving.
