JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A suspect running from police was taken into custody after cops shot at him on a roof causing him to fall to the ground.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Criminal Apprehension Team was serving a warrant for the arrest of Deandre' Perkins, 22, for a May home invasion.
Police spotted Perkins in his 1999 Chevy Malibu on West 18th Street. After a short chase, Perkins jumped out of his vehicle at West 18th Street and Grunthal Street and fled south on foot. Police found an adult and a 3-year-old in the suspect vehicle.
