JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The man suspected of a shooting at a local pharmacy appeared in court Wednesday.

Herman Pickens faces charges of attempted second-degree murder, armed robbery and possession of a firearm in a robbery at a CVS Pharmacy in Ortega.

The victim in the CVS robbery was grazed by a bullet.

Pickens pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday afternoon.

Police have also linked Pickens to the shooting death of 53-year-old Robert Sutton at Mojo No. 4 earlier this month.

Both crimes happened early in the morning of July 8.

Police wounded Pickens in a shooting after a chase on the Westside one day later.

Make sure there is more evidence than just the picture. The recovered murder weapon or his DNA at the scene or murder victims DNA on his shoes or clothes etc... Yes there are people who look alike so much so people would swear by it. Make sure he did it. Once enough evidence is there death by unusual circumstance is warranted, as punishment. Seems courts are throwing out all our right under the Constitution for the least little excuse. Let's bring back death by firing squad and the electric chair. Oh wait no need search warrant, no need for warrants for anything is something we should not talk about. Prisoners should not be subjected to deaths in the manner similar to what they inflicted on their victims why that might be true justice.
