YULEE, Fla. -- A suspect in a string of car fires in Hilliard has been arrested.

The Nassau County Sheriff's Office arrested 49-year-old Ryan Dexter Wilson on three counts of arson and two counts of burglary.

Ten car fires and two apartment fires have been reported at the Eastwood Oaks Apartment Complex in Hilliard since February.

Investigators believe Wilson is behind three of those car fires.  His role in the others is under investigation.

"His actions have resulted in thousands of dollars in property damage and resources spent through the fire department, as well as law enforcement and could have caused serious injury or death," said Sheriff Bill Leeper.

Crime Stoppers and the sheriff's office offered an $11,000 reward in the case.

Whenever I hear of multiple car fires, it makes me wonder how well they were insured. Hm?

Oh my gosh, he's Black! Usually they just kill, rob, and whine about a 'nonexistent oppression'. Not 'normal' to catch one that's a firebug.
