BROOKER, Fla. -- Sheriff's deputies in Bradford county are searching for the suspect who broke into a convenience store early Thursday morning.

The burglary happened just before 3:00 a.m. at the Kangaroo on Southwest State Road 231 near Melvin Street.

Deputies say they responded to the convenience store because the alarm had gone off. When they arrived on the scene they saw that the front glass to the store was broken and someone had gone inside. Blood was left at the scene.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect inside the store.

If you have any information on the suspect's whereabouts you're asked to call police.
