Suspect wanted in Kangaroo store robbery
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for help in finding the man who robbed a Southside Kangaroo Store.
Police say the man walked into the Kangaroo located at 9001 Southside Boulevard at 4:35 a.m. Saturday morning, threatened the clerk, implied he had a gun and demanded money.
The clerk gave the money to the suspect from the cash drawer. The man then left heading north on Southside Boulevard in a burgundy vehicle.
Police say the man is in his late 30's, 5'9" - 5'10" tall, weighs 175 pounds and was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.
